Who we are

isp6 is a Local Internet Registry (LIR) and a member of the RIPE NCC, the regional internet registry for Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia. isp6 is the trading name of SPIDEE CONSULTANTS LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with number 15952257, and its RIPE NCC organisation is ORG-SCL103-RIPE.

Membership: IPv6 PA space

Price
£60 / €72 a year. The first year is half price, £30 / €36, applied at checkout with no code to enter.
Included
A /48 IPv6 PA assignment, assigned to you in the RIPE Database with your certificate on the record.
More space
Another /48 is £15 / €18, and a /44 (sixteen /48s) is £50 / €60. Each is paid once, and holding more never changes the yearly fee.
Managed by you
RPKI (ROAs), reverse DNS and route objects, from your dashboard.
Renewal
Yearly, in the currency you first paid in. You can turn renewal off in your settings at any time.
If it lapses
The blocks come back to isp6. A block you have announced is retired, never handed to anyone else.

PA space is registered under isp6’s LIR, so it is tied to your membership. Space registered to you, independent of isp6 and movable to another LIR, is PI space, below. Membership in full

PI space and AS Numbers

The RIPE NCC assigns Provider Independent (PI) space and AS Numbers to you or your organisation, with isp6 as the sponsoring LIR. They need no membership, and they can move to another sponsoring LIR.

Account verification
£20 / €24, once, before you apply.
PI space
£50 / €60 to set up, then £150 / €175 a year while we sponsor it.
AS Number
£50 / €60 to set up, then £90 / €105 a year while we sponsor it.
Yearly fees start
When the RIPE NCC issues the resource.
Transfer in
No setup fee. Account verification is the only charge before the RIPE NCC records isp6 as your sponsoring LIR, and the first yearly fee is charged on 1 January after that.

What you need

  • An email address. We send a six-digit code to it.
  • A mobile number that can receive a text message.
  • One government-issued photo ID: a passport, driving licence or national ID card. KYCAID, our identity provider, checks it.
  • A payment card.

Accounts are open to customers in 32 countries: the United Kingdom; the 27 EU member states, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden; Switzerland and Norway; and the United States and Canada.

The country is the account holder’s. Where you use the address space is up to you: RIPE policy puts no limit on where an IPv6 assignment is used.

How joining works

  1. Sign up with your email address and enter the code we send.
  2. Confirm your membership, add your contact details and sign the service agreement.
  3. Pay for your first year.
  4. Verify your mobile number, then your photo ID.
  5. Make your signing key in your browser and save it.

You pay before the mobile and photo ID checks. When the last step is done, your /48 is registered in the RIPE Database automatically and your dashboard opens.

For PI space or an AS Number you verify your account instead, with the same mobile and photo ID checks, and then apply.

Currency and VAT

You pay in pounds or euros, and choose which when you pay.

Prices exclude VAT. Any applicable VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing location; EU businesses with a valid VAT number are reverse-charged.
